In 2023, VEI Global won a competitive EU-wide tender to modernise connectivity services for a multi-site European institution under a seven year framework agreement. The solution, based on a “Wi-Fi as a Service” model, incorporated a resilient WAN with fully redundant backup connectivity and an IPv6-enabled architecture, with controllers deployed across multiple data centres within the European Union. The platform allows users to authenticate using their own language profiles, delivering a seamless and consistent user experience across all locations. VEI successfully deployed more than 500 enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points and LAN switches across 50 sites in over 30 countries, providing 720 members with secure, reliable, and consistent wireless connectivity throughout the organisation.
