VEI Global is an ISO 9001 certified managed ICT and B2B telecommunications company. We design, install and manage the networks that organisations run on, including enterprise Wi-Fi, LAN and network infrastructure, Microsoft Teams calling and unified communications, and mobile coverage. We also provide ongoing managed services and skilled engineering resources. We are based in Clane, Co. Kildare, with an office in Manchester.

Where is VEI Global based?

Our headquarters is in Clane, Co. Kildare, Ireland, and we have an office in Didsbury, Manchester in the United Kingdom. We deliver and support projects across all 26 counties of Ireland, across the UK, and in over 100 countries worldwide for multisite customers.

How long has VEI Global been in business?

VEI Global was founded in 2010. Over that time we have grown into a managed ICT and telecommunications provider working with retail, healthcare, government, education, manufacturing and transport organisations across Ireland, the UK and internationally.

Is VEI Global ISO certified?

Yes. VEI Global holds ISO 9001 certification for quality management, so our design, installation and support work follows a documented, audited and repeatable process on every project, regardless of site size.

Services

What services does VEI Global provide?

VEI delivers two connected things: the networks we install, and the services that keep them running. On the installation side that is enterprise Wi-Fi, LAN and network infrastructure, Microsoft Teams calling and unified communications, and mobile coverage. On the services side that is managed services and SLA support, an integration centre for equipment staging and shipping, project field teams, and expert services that place certified engineers into your team. Most customers take a combination that fits their estate.

Does VEI provide ongoing managed services and SLA support?

Yes. VEI runs and supports network and infrastructure estates under a managed services contract with agreed service levels. That covers round the clock monitoring, a service desk, SLA bound incident response, change management and regular service reviews. The same engineering team that designs and installs your network is the team that manages it, under one accountable contract.

Can VEI place skilled engineers into our own team?

Yes. Through our expert services and resourcing offering, VEI places its own vendor certified engineers into your projects or teams, on site or remote, for a defined period or on an ongoing basis. This suits organisations that need skilled hands for a project or a busy period rather than a full managed contract.

Does VEI handle network security?

Yes. VEI designs and manages network security as part of its LAN and managed network services, including firewalls, network segmentation and access control such as Aruba ClearPass. Security is built into the network we design and manage, rather than sold as a separate product.

Coverage, scale and partners

Where can VEI deliver and support projects?

VEI works across all 26 counties of Ireland and throughout the United Kingdom from our Clane and Manchester offices, and supports multisite customer operations in over 100 countries worldwide. We coordinate change centrally and deliver hands on work locally, so a single standard applies across every site.

How large are the networks VEI manages?

VEI has deployed more than 20,000 wireless access points across Europe and supports customer operations in over 100 countries. We work at estate scale, for organisations running many sites, rather than single office PC support.

Which technology vendors does VEI work with?

VEI's primary networking partner is HPE Aruba Networking, and we also work with Cisco, Arista, Microsoft, Luware and Zyxel. Our engineers hold vendor certifications across these platforms, so we can design, deploy and manage the right technology for each customer rather than a single fixed stack.

What types of organisations does VEI work with?

VEI works with retail and hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceutical, government and education, manufacturing, construction, energy and utilities, transport and logistics, and other ICT service providers. The common thread is organisations running networks across multiple sites that need reliable design, installation and ongoing support.

Working with VEI

Does VEI offer 24/7 support?

Yes. Our offices are open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, and we provide 24/7 support for managed service customers. Incidents are handled to agreed service levels by engineers who know your environment, across every site and time zone you operate in.

What does onboarding a managed service with VEI involve?

Onboarding runs through five clear steps. First, a discovery and estate audit. Second, service design and SLA definition, with response targets and escalation paths agreed in writing. Third, transition and onboarding, including knowledge transfer from any current provider. Fourth, steady state management from our network operations centre. Fifth, regular service reviews so the service keeps pace with your business.
